The RYA Powerboat Instructor qualification gives you the ability to teach the RYA powerboat level 1 & 2 courses for any recognised RYA training centres.

Students will attend a three day instructor course run by our RYA Powerboat Trainer and then assessed by an independent RYA Trainer on the third day.

 

Course duration: 

3 days 

Max Course ratio: 

1:6 (trainer : instructor candidates) with no more than 3 candidates per boat.

 

Pre-requisites: 

Minimum age: 16

RYA powerboat instructor skills assessment (successful completion)

RYA Powerboat level 2 certificate (coastal)

RYA First Aid Certificate (or similar)

RYA Membership

You will need to complete your pre skills assessment before to attend the above course this can be booked at our centre before you complete your instructor course.
